No, technically that’s not me in the background of this photo here, but it is an accurate representation of who I am – a guy who loves sharing music with people.
Its a passion for me. Well, okay that’s underselling it…its more than a passion for me…its an obsession.
I LOVE MUSIC.
I grew up on bands like Blink-182 and New Found Glory. I would go hang out at friends’ houses where local bands were practicing because the experience was so magical to me.
My musical tastes evolved and expanded. I wrote for a music blog and interviewed all kinds of artists. I would go to multiple concerts each week. I love going to concerts! There is something so special about sharing live music with other people in a great setting.
I started a band. Then I started some more bands. I screamed, played guitar, and sang a little bit. I rocked out HARD. In fact, I still write and record music to this day (using the moniker I AM HOLLYWOOD).
But there’s nothing like playing live music, listening to live music, and sharing music with other people.
So that’s my purpose in starting this blog – connecting with people through the medium of music.
I have a wide range of tastes that should (I think) appeal to music lovers of many genres.
I plan to connect with as many artists as possible that tour nearby and to get to as many concerts and festivals as possible.
I’ll share interviews, behind-the-scenes, performances, reviews, and hopefully much, much more!
