Last week I was privileged to attend a show for The Ongoing Concept (http://theongoingconcept.com) and they did not disappoint.
TOC is a metal band from Idaho (wrap your minds around that nugget) who I discovered a few years ago with their single “Cover Girl” off their first LP.
It had banjos and breakdowns.
So just saying they’re a “metal band” probably doesn’t do them justice, but I’m not one for naming all the sub-genres, so good enough.
I knew after listening to their music that I had to see them live. They have the kind of music that was made to be played live. Check it out and you’ll know what I mean.
It was a mighty cold night in Salt Lake, so the boys came in, destroyed, and left. I was thoroughly impressed. Proof below…
