It’s another new music Friday!
If you didn’t know (and you’ve been living under a rock) every Friday, artists release new music – whether that be albums, singles, etc.
It’s the best when lots of good music is released on one day! But that doesn’t always happen, so I cover it when good stuff comes out.
Here’s what I’m vibing this week…
nothing, nowhere. just dropped ruiner today and its straight FI-YA!!!
No, really though – listen to this song and then go listen to the whole album. You won’t be disappointed.
This has been a highly-anticipated release from the emo-influenced project of a New England singer and songwriter who covers his face in promotional photos and makes a habit of wearing hoods while performing.
He won’t be able to hide much longer after this release…
I’m a big fan of Tinashe – moody, seductive hip-hop/R&B with catchy melodies – and have been since the beginning.
After many delays, Joyride is finally here. The record features guest spots from Offset, Future, Little Dragon, Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana. The girl has pipes!
Skizzy Mars (born Myles Mills) is an MC based in Manhattan who specializes in jocular, melodic, slightly left-of-center rap. Born and raised in Harlem, he got into modern rock bands, later immersed himself in the output of rappers like Kid Cudi and Kanye West, and traced back to A Tribe Called Quest.
Today he released are you OK? ep and its got some bangers on it. If you’re a fan of smart rap/hip-hop, you will dig.
Okay, you’ve probably heard this song at this point, but I talk about GOOD MUSIC and this fits the bill. Okay? Okay. Just enjoy the pop.
In his debut album, COSMIC, Bazzi masterfully grooves alongside his mesmerizing flow of charm and allure. Throughout his soulful album, his sincerity echoes through the drum-laden tracks and you will enjoy it thoroughly.
I’m a big fan of Young Thug – he brings a skillset for writing catchy songs and melodies in a genre that sometimes gets extremely boring and copycat. Thugger is unique!
Hear No Evil is technically just three singles released together, but its worthwhile of your time. Just give a listen here to his unique brand of hip-hop/rap and see what you think.
So did you find anything new? If so, let me know!
