I was lucky enough to catch Underoath on their “Erase Me” tour across the United States with The Plot in You, Crown the Empire, and Dance Gavin Dance! What a lineup!
I wish I could have taken photos for each band, but alas, I enjoyed the opening bands as I awaited the elder statesmen of the scene…Underoath. It had been over a decade since I had seen dem boyz, and when they broke up, I thought I’d never have the chance to see them again. Thank goodness I was wrong!
They played a set that spanned the gamut of their career – everything from Chasing Safety to their newest LP Erase Me (which I have grown to love and appreciate for what it is – I judged it harshly too quickly) and it all flowed beautifully. They were masterful and sounded excellent.
